Michigan Network Access Points

SouthEast Michigan Peering Project

ISPs are invited to join the SouthEast Michigan Peering Project

There is a significant amount of traffic on the Internet that is regional in nature.
By peering at a local network access point centered in Southfield, ISPs can reduce their traffic on backbone connections.
Peering costs $200 per T1 per month and implies trading traffic with any and all members of the SouthEast Michigan Peering Project.
$200 covers the cost of a local T1 loop, assuming you can meet at one of the following DS3 cross-connection points:

Switches under consideration:
248-??? - SFLD - Southfield Main
248-??? - TROY - Troy Main
248-??? - PNTC - Pontiac Main
